Jenny Ann Kropp (born June 17, 1979 in Grand Island , Nebraska ) is an American volleyball and beach volleyball player .

Career indoor volleyball

Kropp played from 1998 to 2001 at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln with the Nebraska Cornhuskers . From 2002 to 2003 the middle blocker was active in Puerto Rico with Vaqueras de Bayamón .

Career beach volleyball

In 2006 Kropp began playing beach volleyball. She played on the national AVP tour with Jenny Pavley in 2007 and with Nancy Reynolds in 2008 . In 2009 Kropp played alongside the Olympians Holly McPeak and Barbra Fontana and on the FIVB World Tour in Phuket with Brittany Hochevar . In 2010 the long-term partnership with Whitney Pavlik began . Kropp / Pavlik were one of the most successful teams on the AVP Tour in 2011 and 2012. Kropp had her only appearance at a Grand Slam tournament in Gstaad in 2012 at the side of Nicole Branagh .
