life and career

Jens Corssen studied psychology at the University of Munich . Already during the last semester he worked with his fellow student and friend Michael Kronberger, with therapeutic alternatives to psychoanalysis oriented towards depth psychology. After graduating in 1970, this led to the establishment of the first private practice for behavior therapy in Germany. In a scientific context, Corssen and Kronberger let their clients gain new experiences through playful learning. Today's neurobiological research confirms that only emotionalizing experience leads to new neural connections in the brain and can initiate personality development.

Within a short time Corssen became one of the most authoritative practicing "psychologists of a new kind". At the same time he worked as a columnist and had his own radio and television broadcasts on a regular basis. The best known here was the "Jens Corssen Telephone", which was broadcast live on the radio from 1985 to 1996 as a psychological help in life. The editor in charge was Patricia Riekel , who also wrote a book for the show with Corssen.

From the mid-1990s, Corssen shifted the focus of his work to personality training for managers. With the self-developer concept he created, he worked as a speaker and keynote speaker at seminars and events in Germany, Austria and Switzerland.
