Christiane Tramitz

Christiane Tramitz , née Doermer , (born February 13, 1959 in Munich ) is a German publicist . She is the founder and managing director of the company HumanLink , which investigates questions of culture and consumer research with the help of the knowledge and methods of behavioral research.

career path

Christiane Tramitz is the daughter of the actor and filmmaker Christian Doermer and the author Lore Doermer, geb. Schmidt-Polex. Her first marriage was to the actor Christian Tramitz .

After a curative education internship, she studied psycholinguistics at the University of Munich . During her studies she did internships at the Max Planck Institute for Psychiatry, among other things . Immediately after graduating in 1984, she began working as a freelance speech therapist . In her book Olaf - Child Without Language , she described her experiences in healing children with severe speech disorders .

1989, after receiving his doctorate as Dr. phil., Christiane Tramitz moved to the research center for human ethology of the Max Planck Society in Andechs . From 1989 to 1993 she managed several projects with a focus on non-verbal communication as a research assistant . From 1994 to 1998 she dealt with the connection between communication disorders and violent behavior in adolescents and young adults in several projects supported by the German government and the European Commission .

In 2003 she founded the company HumanLink in Berlin , which works scientifically and in an advisory capacity in the business and media sector. As a journalist, Christiane Tramitz has published numerous non-fiction books, specialist articles and reports.

For her contribution "Zerrupfte Paradiesvögel" ( Süddeutsche Zeitung , January 2, 2003) she was awarded the Karl Buchrucker Prize .
