Jens Liebchen

Jens Liebchen (* 1970 in Bonn ) is a German photographer .

Liebchen studied ethnology at the Free University in Berlin from 1992 to 1995 . He has been working as a freelance photographer since 1995. His photos have been published in the New York Times , Esquire and Quest , among others . He lives in Berlin and Tokyo.

For this photo series, Liebchen photographed artists in front of their work in the Reichstag , including Georg Baselitz , Christian Boltanski , Jenny Holzer , Sigmar Polke , Günther Uecker . The photo series was shown in many German Goethe Institutes.
