Jens Scheiblich (born November 2, 1942 in Hamburg ; † December 25, 2010 there ) was a German actor .

Life

After graduating from high school in 1962, he went to the Bundeswehr and finished his service there in 1964 as a lieutenant in the reserve. Then he attended the Hildburg Frese drama school in Hamburg until 1967.

He made his stage debut at the Thalia Theater as early as 1965 and subsequently performed at other theaters. From 1974 to 1983 and since 1996 he was part of the permanent ensemble of the Ohnsorg Theater . In the meantime he worked as a freelance actor. The 1.67 meter tall Scheiblich was also a regular guest on television, where he played the role of village policeman Heitmann in the television series Der Landarzt on ZDF for over 15 years .

Scheiblich died on Christmas Day 2010 at the age of 68 after a serious illness in Hamburg. He found his final resting place in the Volksdorf forest cemetery.
