Jeremy Hall (born September 11, 1988 in Tampa , Florida ) is a Puerto Rican football player in the midfielder position . He currently plays for the Tampa Bay Rowdies in the North American Soccer League (NASL).

Career

Youth and amateur football

Hall began his active football career in 2004 with HC United in his hometown of Tampa, having previously gained experience playing football at the Bradenton Academy . In 2005 he retired from HC United and moved to the University of Maryland from College Park . At university he came to the soccer team, the Maryland Terrapins , to some missions and goals. He also celebrated some successes in the team, such as B. the accolade as "ACC Freshman of the Year" , the first success of its kind in the history of the university football team. In his freshman year, Hall had a total of seven goals. As a sophomore , in his second year of study, he had five hits and four assists in 18 missions .

Club career

At the MLS SuperDraft 2009 he was drafted in the first round as the eleventh pick for the New York Red Bulls in the Major League Soccer. On March 19, 2009, he made his professional debut in a 3-0 home loss to Seattle Sounders FC when he came on in the 34th minute for Andrew Boyens . During his first season for the New Yorkers, he was on the field 24 times in the regular season. After the end of the season he went to Red Bull Salzburg to continue training during the MLS break.

On November 22, 2010, it was announced that Hall will join the Portland Timbers .

On August 19, 2011, it was announced that Hall will play for Dallas FC before joining Toronto FC on November 29, 2011 .

International

From 2005 to 2006 Hall came to 22 appearances in the US U-17 national soccer team . He was also a member of the U-17 team that took part in the 2005 World Junior Championships in Peru . With the team he made it to the quarter-finals, where they failed 2-0 at the Dutch junior selection . In 2007 and 2008 Hall made a few appearances in the U-20 selection of his home country.

In May 2016, Hall was appointed to the Puerto Rican national soccer team. Since his grandparents are from the country, he was nominated and played his first international match on May 22, 2016.
