Jeremy Levy

Jeremy Levy (born May 18, 1965 in New York City ) is an American physicist and former child actor and film actor .

Life

At the age of twelve Levy stood in front of the camera for the four-part television film Holocaust - The Story of the Weiss Family . A year later he was in the comedy Not bad at the lead role of Jamie Harris held. For this role he was nominated for Best Actor in a Feature Film at the first Youth in Film Awards in 1979 . He then retired from acting and is now Professor of Solid State Physics at the University of Pittsburgh in the US state of Pennsylvania .
