Jerry Juhl
Jerry Juhl (born July 27, 1938 in Saint Paul , Minnesota , † September 27, 2005 in San Francisco ) was an American screenwriter , especially for the Muppet Show .
Life
Jerry Juhl has written the scripts for numerous television shows and feature films, such as the series Fraggles and Sesame Street . He was best known as the main writer for the muppet show. Since 1961 he worked with Jim Henson .
Juhl has won numerous awards, including seven Emmy awards.
Jerry Juhl was married to Susan Juhl for over thirty years, with whom he also worked. Juhl died of cancer. After his death, his urn was buried in the San Francisco Columbarium .
