Jesse Engel is an American pool player .

Career

In October 2010, Jesse Engel came 17th at the US Open . A month later he made it to the finals of the Junior World Championship . There he was defeated by the Spaniard Francisco Sánchez with 6:11. In 2011 Engel was ninth in the Ultimate 10-Ball Championship, eleventh in the second tournament of the Seminole Florida Pro Tour and second in the final against Canadian Felix Beardy in the Northern Lights Shootout . In February 2012, Engel finished fourth in 10-ball and 9-ball at the US Bar Box Championship . In April he finished second at the Four Bears Classic and came third at the CSI 9-Ball Challenge 2012. In August and September respectively, Engel won the Zingale's Southeast Open and the Ultimate Billiards Summer Sizzler. At the Derby City Classic in 2013, Engel finished 32nd in the One Pocket . In April of the same year he won the Arena Billiards 9-Ball Open.

Together with the Germans Thorsten Hohmann and Ralf Souquet , Engel forms the Minnesota Outlaws team , which won the play-offs of the 2013 World Professional Billiard League in February 2014.
