Career

Jesse Engelbrecht was born in Durban in South Africa and shortly afterwards moved with his parents near the Zimbabwean capital Harare . After graduating from college, he therefore moved his training base to England . After his parents' farm in Zimbabwe was in danger of being attacked and looted like many others in the country, they decided to move to South Africa in 2006. For this reason Engelbrecht decided to apply for South African citizenship, which he finally received at the end of 2006. With the South African national team he took in 2007 and 2009 at the World Cup in part. In 2008 he was South African runner- up behind Stephen Coppinger .
