Jesse Alfred Wallingford (born January 25, 1872 in London , † June 6, 1944 in Auckland , New Zealand ) was a British marksman .

successes

Jesse Wallingford took part in the 1908 Olympic Games in London in part in four disciplines. In the individual competition with the Free Pistol he finished fifth with 467 points, while he finished the team competition alongside Henry Lynch-Staunton , Geoffrey Coles and William Ellicott behind the US and Belgian teams in second place and thus won the bronze medal. Wallingford was the team's best shooter with 477 points. In the three-position battle with the free rifle, he finished tenth, with the team he was sixth.

1899 Wallingford was in Loosduinen in the prone position with the open air rifle champion .
