Reinhard Kriese
Reinhard Kriese (born 1954 in Weißenfels , GDR ) is a German science fiction author.
Kriese studied mechanical engineering at the Westsächsische Hochschule Zwickau with a degree in engineering and worked as a design group leader in Halle . In the 1980s he published two science fiction novels in the BASAR book series by the Berlin publishing house Neues Leben . The lexicon Die Science-fiction der GDR judged: "Krieses science-fiction is concerned with adventurous entertainment, but provides escapist entertainment at best due to its low aesthetic standard, its stereotypical linguistic design and its arbitrarily installed pseudo-acts and pseudo-conflicts." After the end of the GDR Reinhard Kriese worked as a consulting engineer in the field. He is married and has a son.
