Jessica Anne Jordan Burton (born May 6, 1984 in Huacaraje , Beni Department , Bolivia ) was Miss Bolivia 2006, applicant for the title of Miss Universe 2007 and candidate for governor of Beni Department .

The dates of birth of Jessica Jordan, which are also given as born on May 6, 1985 in England, have been under discussion since Bolivian President Evo Morales proposed her as candidate for governor for the Beni department in the Bolivian lowlands. Applicants for governorship must be at least 25 years old when they take office. In order to be elected as a candidate for the ruling party Movimiento Al Socialismo (MAS) (German: 'Movement to Socialism') in the regional elections on April 4, 2010, she had to meet this criterion. Jordan's application was supported, among others, by the Confederation of Indigenous Peoples of the Bolivian East (CIDOB).

Jessica Jordan is the daughter of Aída Burton (Bolivia) and Andy Jordan (England). As the youngest candidate and the only woman among the applicants for governorship, she was quoted as saying: “We will fight with faith and hope for children, for women, for dignity, for the work of man, for the elderly, for the indígenas, for the farmers, for everyone, because it is time to fight for truth and justice. ”In the election in early April 2010 she received 47,720 votes, while her conservative competitor Antonio Costas won 52,132 votes.

Jessica Jordan was appointed Consul General of Bolivia in New York in 2014, where she succeeded María Eugenia Osinaga on May 2, 2014 .

In March 2017, she announced her wedding to the Bolivian building contractor Sebastián Paz Quaino.
