Jessica Denise Welch (born January 6, 1980 in Montreal , Canada ) is a Canadian actress and model .

Life

Which was born in Montreal grew up in Québec City . There she started her acting career in 1993 with the Canadian drama The Sex of Stars . A year later she played her first leading role in the Gaumont Télévision adventure film Warrior Spirit and in 1995 again embodied the character Minnetaki in an episode of the drama series Aventures dans le Grand Nord . In the 1996 British family comedy Rainbow - The Fantastic Journey on the Rainbow , she played alongside Bob Hoskins . In 2001 she met the Slovak ice hockey player Richard Zedník in Montreal and they both entered into a relationship a short time later. From this relationship, their daughter was born on December 6, 2003. In 2005 the couple got married in Banská Bystrica . After six years of relationship, the couple split and Welch began a relationship with Canadian ice hockey player Dustin Penner . Welch married this on February 2, 2011, but this marriage only lasted one year and Penner filed for divorce on February 29, 2012. She lives in Manhattan Beach , California after her divorce from Penner .
