Louis Abel Caillouet
Louis Abel Caillouet (born August 2, 1900 in Thibodaux , Louisiana , USA ; † September 16, 1984 ) was auxiliary bishop in New Orleans .
Life
Louis Abel Caillouet received on 7 March 1925, the sacrament of Holy Orders .
On August 2, 1947, Pope Pius XII appointed him . the titular bishop of Setea and ordered him auxiliary bishop in New Orleans. The Archbishop of New Orleans, Joseph Rummel , donated him episcopal ordination on October 28 of the same year ; Co- consecrators were the Bishop of Lafayette , Jules Benjamin Jeanmard , and the Bishop of Alexandria , Charles Pasquale Greco .
On July 7, 1976, Pope Paul VI. the resignation put forward by Louis Abel Caillouet for reasons of age.
