history

JetGreen Airways had to cease operations after just one week in May 2004, and according to media reports, more than 400 passengers were stuck in Spain on May 12, 2004. The 40,000 tickets already sold could not be returned.

The company had charged entry prices of one euro including taxes and fees for its flights. Although it initially only operated with an aircraft rented by Icelandair, negotiations with other destinations about the start of flights were ongoing, according to the company.
