ASL Airlines Ireland is an Irish airline based in Dublin and based at Dublin Airport . It is a subsidiary of the ASL Aviation Group .

history

ASL Airlines Ireland was founded in 1972 as AirBridge Carriers in East Midlands . In September 1992 it was renamed Hunting Cargo Airlines . In June 1998 the Compagnie Maritime Belge bought 51% and Safair 49% of the company, renamed them Air Contractors and moved the company headquarters to Ireland. In 2015 it was again renamed ASL Airlines Ireland .
