Token Kelmendi

Jeton Kelmendi (* 1978 in Peć ) is a Kosovar writer and correspondent for various media in Kosovo and Albania .

Life

Kelmendi attended elementary school and high school in his hometown, then he studied at the University of Pristina and was a member of the UÇK . His work covers political and cultural topics, his poetry has been translated into several languages ​​and has been published in various anthologies . He is a member of the Association of European Journalists and several poets' associations. He lives and works in Brussels .

With his book Ku shkojnë ardhjet, Kelmendi was a finalist of the Azem Shkreli national literary prize named after the Albanian author .

Several of his poetry collections have been published in Albanian and Romanian .
