Jetti-Schahr

Jetti-Schahr , also Jiti-Shahar or Seven-Cities-Land , is the name of the empire founded by Jakub Bek , the Atalik Ghasi , in 1865 in the south-western part of East Turkestan , which comes from the Chinese province of Tien-schan-nan-lu the cities of Kashgar , Jengi-Hissar , Jarkent , Khotan , Aksu , Karaschar , Hami / Kumul and Turfan existed.

Before its greater expansion, the empire was called Alti-Shahr ( Six Cities ).

After the suppression of the Dungan Uprising in 1879 and the death of Jakub Beks and his son, the area returned to Chinese administration.
