Yevgeny Markashansky (born January 26, 1985 in Vitebsk ) is a Belarusian biathlete .

Yevgeny Markashansky is a student who lives and studies in Minsk . He competes for SKA Minsk and is trained by Sjarhej Sakalouski . He started biathlon in 2004. At the beginning of the 2004/05 season he competed in Obertilliach in his first race in the junior European Biathlon Cup . The highlight of the season was participation in the Junior Biathlon European Championships 2006 in Langdorf , where the Belarusian finished 29th in the individual, 39th in the sprint and 39th in the pursuit. He also took part in the 2006 Winter Military World Championships in Andermatt and achieved a 66th place in the sprint. The 2006 Summer Biathlon World Championships in Ufa became the third international championship . Markaschanski was used in the competitions of the juniors on roller skis , in which he was 14th of the sprint and 12th of the pursuit.

Markaschanski made his international debut with the men at the start of the 2006/07 season in Obertilliach in the European Cup. Between the end of 2006 and 2009, the Belarusian did not make any further international assignments at a higher level. It was not until the European Biathlon Championships in Ufa in 2009 that he competed internationally again and thus also played his first major men's tournament. In the individual he finished 41st, was 30th in the sprint, 33rd in the pursuit and on the side of Jauhen Schuleu , Uladsimir Miklascheuski and Jury Ljadau with the Belarusian relay team tenth.
