The Jezioro Lubie (German Großer Lübbesee ) is an inland lake in the Powiat Drawski in the Polish West Pomeranian Voivodeship . The lake is located in the territory of the Złocieniec municipality and is one of the 20 largest lakes in Poland .
Geographical location
The lake is located in Upper Pomerania in Pomeranian Switzerland , part of the Pomeranian Lake District . Its height above sea level is 95.5 meters. The villages of Gudowo (Baumgarten) , Lubieszewo (Güntershagen) and Karwice (Karwitz) lie on the bank . In the south is the restricted military area Poligon Drawski .

The Lubie is formed by the Drawa . The Rinnensee is over 14 kilometers long and 14.87 square kilometers in size. It is up to 46.2 meters deep. Channel lakes were created by meltwater during the Vistula glacial period .
The Drawa flows through the Drawsko and Jezioro Krosino on its way , flows past Drawsko Pomorskie , into the Jezioro Lubie, from where it flows through a pine-covered sand area past Hochzeit Stare Osieczno into the Noteċ .
There are five islands in the lake.
