Jiří Mazoch (born January 2, 1990 in Čeladná ) is a former Czech ski jumper . He is the younger brother of the ski jumper Jan Mazoch and the grandson of the Olympic ski jumping champion Jiří Raška .

Career

Mazoch participated in the Junior World Championships in 2005, 2006 and 2007. He achieved his best results with the team as fifth in Rovaniemi in 2005 and seventh in Tarvisio in 2007, the best individual result was a 15th place in Kranj .

In the Ski Jumping World Cup , Jiří Mazoch was able to qualify for a competition for the first time on February 8, 2008. At his home competition in Liberec he reached his only World Cup points with 29th place. Having won two World Cup points, he finished the 2007/08 season in 82nd place in the overall World Cup ranking. In the following season he started again firmly in the Ski Jumping Continental Cup . His best Continental Cup result so far came in fifth on February 26, 2012 in Wisła, Poland .
