Jiří place

Jiří Ort (* 1946 in Brno ) is a Czech radio play author and language teacher for opera singers.

Career

Ort emigrated from Czechoslovakia in 1970, graduated from university in Vienna and then worked as an IT project manager. He played in various bands, composes and plays classical music on his master guitar. With actors he produces music features for radio, e.g. B. about Leoš Janáček , Josef Suk , Pavel Haas , Bohuslav Martinů and EW Korngold .

At the end of the flood of light , a theatrical version was performed in Liberec (Reichenberg) with the support of the Goethe Institute in Prague and the German-Czech Future Fund.
