Jigzaw (* 1994 or * 1995 in Hagen as Nuhsan Coskun ) is a Turkish rapper who grew up in Germany and who was signed to Kollegah's label Alpha Music Empire . In 2019 he left Germany voluntarily to avoid deportation for various criminal offenses. Ultimately, due to disputes, he left Alpha Music Empire and started his own label Jailbreak.

Life

Nuhsan Coskun grew up in Hagen as a child of an Azeri family from the eastern Turkish city of Iğdır . He came into conflict with the law early on. The police are investigating 40 crimes against him, including violence, drugs and theft. He was sentenced to four years and six months' youth penalty for dangerous bodily harm, the execution of which prevented an actually planned deportation.

In 2017 Coskun published his first track on the video platform YouTube . In July 2017, he was involved in a physical altercation with a drunk man. Coskun seriously injured his opponent with a machete and then fled. The police then launched a public manhunt and arrested him in November 2017. In April 2018 Coskun was sentenced to three years and six months imprisonment for the act by the Hagen District Court . He then appealed the judgment. In May 2018 he was released from pretrial detention on bail that the well-known rapper Kollegah took on. Coskun described his view of the incident in an approximately eight-minute YouTube video. He alleged in both the video and the trial that he was innocent and presented his act as self-defense as the victim of the attack was also armed with a knife. In April 2019, the Hagen district court overturned the lower court's judgment and sentenced Coskun to a year and nine months' imprisonment, which it suspended on probation.

On June 14, 2018, Coskun's first video called Realtalk Unchained was released on rapper Kollegah's YouTube channel of Alpha Music Empire. Jigzaw's debut album Post Mortem was released on August 31, 2018 . It reached number 14 in the German album charts, while the accompanying single Medusablick , a featuring with Kollegah, entered number 94. In December 2018, the album was temporarily withdrawn from circulation after an injunction . The Geiss family had sued Medusablick's text , in which Coskuns raps that he will have sexual intercourse with his 14 and 15 year old daughters on their eighteenth birthday and will kill them. With an injunction, the line in question was banned, the CDs were taken out of circulation and the song was banned from the Internet. The line was then replaced. In October 2019, the Mannheim Regional Court awarded the daughters monetary compensation of 50,000 euros from Coskun.

Because of his crimes, the Federal Republic of Germany revoked Coskun's residence permit in 2014 . Coskun appeared after serving his youth custody temporarily below and presented in May 2017 in the face of imminent deportation an asylum application , which he founded in order that he had also Armenian roots and this state in Turkey persecution and discrimination were suspended. After the rejection of the application, he submitted a follow-up asylum application in April 2018, which he justified with the worsening situation in Turkey. The Federal Office for Migration and Refugees (BAMF) also rejected this application. A lawsuit against this was dismissed by the responsible administrative court in Osnabrück in October 2018, so that Coskun remains legally obliged to leave the country.

On June 1, 2019, the rapper was arrested during an unauthorized video shoot in Altenhagen . On the evening of June 3, 2019, he left Germany by plane for Turkey in order to forestall his impending deportation.
