District court Hagen
The Hagen District Court , a court of ordinary jurisdiction , is the largest of nine district courts in the district of the Hagen District Court .
Seat and District of the Court
The seat of the court is the independent city of Hagen in North Rhine-Westphalia . The boundaries of the city with approx. 187,000 inhabitants are identical to the 160 km² judicial district .
The court is the central dunning court for the higher regional court districts of Hamm and Düsseldorf . The department began operations in 1987 as the first central dunning court in North Rhine-Westphalia. As the central register court , it also manages the trade and cooperative register for the district court districts of Hagen, Wetter (Ruhr) , Schwelm and Schwerte . The jurisdiction for insolvency proceedings of the district court district of Hagen is concentrated with him. Since January 1, 2013, the Hagen District Court has also been the central enforcement court for the state of North Rhine-Westphalia.
The tasks of the Agricultural Court are assigned to the Schwelm District Court.

history
The court has existed in its current form since 1879. It took over its tasks in 1969 when the Hohenlimburg District Court was dissolved .
