District court Meinerzhagen
The district court Meinerzhagen , a court of the ordinary jurisdiction , is one of nine district courts in the district of the district court Hagen .
Seat and District of the Court
The court has its seat in Meinerzhagen in the Märkisches Kreis , North Rhine-Westphalia . The approximately 187 km² judicial district covers the area of the cities of Meinerzhagen and Kierspe with a total of 36,700 inhabitants.
The trade and cooperative register for the district of the district court Meinerzhagen is kept at the district court Iserlohn . For reminders and insolvency proceedings is Hagen District Court jurisdiction. The tasks of the Agricultural Court and the processing of family matters from the judicial district are assigned to the Lüdenscheid District Court .

In 1753 the sovereign court in Meinerzhagen was abolished. From 1828 a deputy from the Lüdenscheid regional court held a court day in Meinerzhagen. In 1878 the district court was established.
