Jim Kouf
Jim Kouf (born July 24, 1951 in Hollywood , California ) is an American screenwriter, film and television producer and director.
Life
Kouf began his career in the film business as a screenwriter in the early 1980s. He worked with director John Badham on several films . Also in the 1980s he gained his first experience as a producer in various positions. In the 2000s he turned to television in this regard. For example, from 2011 to 2017 he was involved in the series Grimm , which he also accompanied as an author and whose concept he helped develop.
His main focus as a screenwriter is on comedies.
In 1986 he made his debut as a director with Miracles - A Very Unbelievable Adventure . 1989 followed the film In the safe all hell is going on . He directed his third film Gangland - Cops under fire in 1997, most recently he shot A Fork in the Road . He also wrote the script for all of his directorial work.
