Wacko , also Wacko - Da Wackelte Bude , is an American horror comedy and parody from 1981.

action

As a child, Mary Graves watched the pumpkin head killer cruelly kill her sister with a lawnmower . On the anniversary exactly thirteen years later, the killer appears to be returning. The wrecked policeman Dick Harbringer is still on his trail. But the number of suspects introduced is large: A simple-minded psychopath who has just broken out, Mary's father and voyeur Mr. Doctor Graves, who is not afraid of bloodthirsty operations and does not have a doctorate at all, Mary's friend Norman Bates, who makes suspicious lawnmower noises when excited or who Gardener, the epitome of a murderer. While in high school - Halloween is to recognize -Ball former Pumpkin head murderer and asks for forgiveness, the policeman Dick Harbringer brings in disguise the murderer teenagers around because he wants to prove that he can come back anytime and strike. He is played by Mary Graves, unlike the defenseless victims of the horror film genre, u. a. brought down with an American flag and rifle.

Mary Graves' family consists of her parents, where the name Doktor is the first name and not the title of the father, of her brother Damien and her brother, who has been missing since the incident thirteen years ago and who was introduced into history after his ordeal as an outbreak of psychopath has been.

The film parody alludes to horror films such as The Exorcist , Alien , Psycho , Halloween and The Omen II and also takes over elements from the drama The Elephant Man , from Grease or Saturday Night Fever .
