James George "Jim" Miller (born November 10, 1947 in Syracuse , New York ) is a former American Nordic combined skier .
Miller became national junior Nordic combined champion in 1966. In 1968 and 1970 he won the NCAA championships. Among the professionals, he was three times American champion (1966, 1969, 1970) in Nordic combined and once in ski jumping. He also competed at three winter universities and was allowed to carry the flag at the opening ceremony in 1968. In the same year he took part in the Winter Olympics in Grenoble , France. He managed a 26th place. In 1972 it was 34th place in Sapporo, Japan .
Millter attended Fort Lewis College and was inducted into the Hall of Fame there in 2001.
