Michael Alan "Mike" Devecka (born November 13, 1947 in Portland , Oregon ) is a former American Nordic combined athlete and ski jumper .

Devecka was national champion in the Nordic combined in 1972, 1974, 1975 and 1979 and in 1978 in ski jumping on the large hill. He competed a total of three times in the Nordic combined at the Winter Olympics. In 1972 he finished 21st in Sapporo, Japan . In Innsbruck , Austria, it was only enough for 28th place and when he last participated in Lake Placid , New York , he dropped out of the 15 km cross-country skiing.

Devecka studied at Fort Lewis College , where she graduated in 1969 with a degree in history. In 1999 he was inducted into the Hall of Fame for Colorado Skiers.

With the speed skater Dianne Holum he has a daughter Kirstin , who also competes in speed skating.
