Jim Simpson
Jim Simpson (born February 21, 1956 as James Simpson in Hawaii ) is an American theater and film director , actor , screenwriter and film editor .
Life
Jim Simpson is of Scottish descent and the founder of The Flea Theater in New York City . He is married to actress Sigourney Weaver and has a daughter, Charlotte Simpson, with her. She was born on April 13, 1990.
Simpson appeared in two episodes of the hit CBS series Hawaii Five-Zero . Particularly noteworthy is his characterization of Foxer in the episode The Human Assault Force of Season 7.
Simpson directed the film The Guys (2002), which he also wrote the screenplay for and which starred his wife Sigourney Weaver. In 1990 he directed an episode of the Tales from the Crypt series . He was also involved as an assistant director in the film productions of Event Horizon - On the Edge of the Universe and Spice World - The Film .
