The Jin Jiang ( Chinese  锦江 , Pinyin Jǐn Jiāng , German River Jin ) is a river system in the southwest Chinese province of Sichuan . It essentially consists of the two rivers Fu He (府 河) and Nan He (南河), flows through the provincial capital Chengdu and flows into the Min Jiang in Pengshan .

The Fu He is created by the confluence of the Zouma He (走马 河) with the Pi He (毗河) in the area of the Pidu district . From there to the mouth it has a length of 115 kilometers and a catchment area of 2090 square kilometers. At its mouth it has an average discharge of 48 m³ / s or 1.433 billion cubic meters of water per year.

The Nan He arises from Qingshui He (清水 河) and Modi He (摸底 河) in the urban area of Chengdu, then takes the Fenghuang He (凤凰 河) and flows into the Fu He after 20.9 kilometers.
