João Justino Amaral dos Santos , Amaral for short (born December 25, 1954 in Campinas , state of São Paulo , Brazil ) is a former Brazilian soccer player .
During his playing career, the center- back played for Guarani FC , Corinthians São Paulo , Santos FC and later in Mexico . He ended his career in 1987.
Between 1975 and 1980 he made 41 international matches for Brazil and took part in the 1978 World Cup in Argentina . He was used in all seven games and ended up in third place.
