JoEllen Marie Sigua De Leon (* 25. May 1993 in Portland , Oregon ) is a Filipino - American football player .
Life
De Leon was born in Portland , Oregon and grew up in neighboring Gresham . In Gresham , she attended Centennial High School from 2006 to 2010 . De Leon has been studying at the Western Oregon Wolves since 2011 .
Career
societies
Lee started her active career in the youth of Bridle Mile Soccer. In the fall of 2006 she enrolled at the Centennial High School Eagles in Gresham , where she played four years in Women Soccer with the Eagles. In September 2011 she then moved to Western Oregon University and played for the university's women's soccer team, the Wolves. In addition to her career at Western Oregon University, she played for Eastside Timbers during the 2011 semester break and for the Portland Rain Soccer Club in 2012 .
National team
De Leon plays internationally for the national soccer team of the Philippines , her parents' homeland, and made her debut on May 25, 2013 against Bangladesh.
Athletics career
In her teens in high school, she was an active track and field athlete where she was active as a sprinter .
