Jo Schultheis

Jo Schultheis (born October 10, 1949 in Bonn-Bad Godesberg ; † March 12, 2012 in Cologne ) was a German installation artist and graphic artist .

Life

After graduating from the Jesuit grammar school Aloisiuskolleg , Schultheis studied German and law in Bonn from 1970 to 1980 .

Since 1980 he has been an artist as an autodidact. He lived and worked in Cologne since 1993 and most recently in Villiprott in the Rhein-Sieg district . His filigree work includes graphite and ink drawings, watercolors, material and photo collages, objects and installations as well as texts and performances.
