Joachim Ludwig Brinkmann (born June 28, 1928 - † August 7, 2015 ) was a German dubbing writer , dubbing director, dramaturge and theater director .

Career

After studying philosophy with Hans-Georg Gadamer in Frankfurt am Main and Heidelberg, he worked as a dramaturge with Heinz Hilpert at the Deutsches Theater in Göttingen.

Since 1964 he has directed television productions ( taxi please ) and, as a dubbing writer and dubbing director, created the German version of numerous cinema films ( Orson Welles ' Der Glanz des Haus Amberson , Andrzej Wajda's Der Mann aus Eisen , Andy Warhol's Blue Movie , Sergio Leones For a Handful Dollar , Damiano Damiani's The Deadly Warning , Theo Angelopoulos ' The Beekeeper ) and TV films, but also from early evening series such as The Charming Jeannie , Arsène Lupine , the Master Thief or Number 6 .
