Joachim Hoof

Joachim Hoof (born November 9, 1957 in Remscheid ) is chairman of the board of the Ostsächsische Sparkasse Dresden .

Professional career

After completing his training as a banker and later graduating as a savings bank economist, he worked for several years in the corporate customer business of the Stadtsparkasse Remscheid .

In 1991 Joachim Hoof moved to Saxony to join the board of the predecessor institutes of the Ostsächsische Sparkasse Dresden. With the merger to form Ostsächsische Sparkasse Dresden in 2004, Joachim Hoof took over the position of the institute's deputy chairman.

Since mid-2005, he has been CEO of Ostsächsische Sparkasse Dresden, one of the largest savings banks in Eastern Germany.

In addition, Joachim Hoof has been chairman of the board of the Sachsen-Finanzgruppe since 2005 and a board member since 2001.

In addition, he is chairman of the supervisory board of Sparkassen-Versicherung Sachsen Lebensversicherung AG and SV Sachsen Allgemeine Versicherung AG, Dresden and on the supervisory board of Sächsische Lotto GmbH, Leipzig.

In the Landesbank Sachsen Girozentrale (later a public limited company), Hoof was chairman of the board during the sales phase to the Landesbank Baden-Württemberg from September 15, 2007 to February 29, 2008. Previously, from March 20, 2006 to September 4, 2007, he was a member of the Board of Directors.
