Joachim Rogosch

Joachim Rogosch (born January 23, 1957 in Bad Neustadt an der Saale ) is a German journalist and publicist.

Life

Rogosch studied Catholic theology in Tübingen, Paris and Würzburg and, as a scholarship holder, completed the "Journalist Training Course" at the Institute for the Promotion of Young Journalists in Munich from 1978 to 1981 . In 1983 he joined the central editorial office of the Schwäbische Zeitung in Leutkirch, initially in the politics department, later he moved to the culture department. There he was responsible for religion, science, journalism training and special tasks.

In December 1998 Rogosch parted ways with the Schwäbische Zeitung. He has been self-employed as a freelance journalist and in the area of ​​internal corporate communications since 1999. He is also a lecturer for media ethics and journalistic practice at the Ravensburg University of Cooperative Education , specializing in media and communication management / journalism, and at the Institute for the Promotion of Young Journalists (ifp) in Munich. He is honorary chairman of the ifp's support association (Fifp).

He lives in Leutkirch in the Allgäu .

Awards

In 2001 he was awarded the Theodor Wolff Prize , the journalist prize of the German newspapers, for his report “Timo speaks three languages ​​with his fingers”, which appeared in the Stuttgarter Zeitung and the Neue Zürcher Zeitung .
