Joachim Upmeyer
Joachim Upmeyer (born April 11, 1914 in Johannesburg ; † May 15, 1987 in Borgholzhausen ) was a German local politician and honorary district administrator ( FDP ).
Life and work
After attending school, he completed commercial and agricultural training and then worked as a businessman and farmer . He was married.
Upmeyer was a member of the Borgholzhausen City Council from 1948 to 1969 , and was also mayor . From December 22, 1948 to December 3, 1959, he was a member of the district council of the former district of Halle (Westphalia) . From November 27, 1952 to November 20, 1958, Upmeyer was district administrator of the district.
From 1953 to 1960 he was a member of the landscape assembly of the regional association Westphalia-Lippe .
