Joaquín Oscar Larrivey , called Joaquín Larrivey , (born August 20, 1984 in Gualeguay , Entre Ríos ) is an Argentine football player .

Career

Larrivey began his career at Club Atlético Huracán . In 2004 he was promoted to the first team and was able to assert himself from then on. For the 2007/08 season he was signed by the Italian first division club Cagliari Calcio . After he had completed a season and a half, he was loaned to his home country, CA Vélez Sársfield . In the 2009/10 season he was a regular player, but was awarded again to Argentina because of poor performance in the following season.

In 2012 he left Europe and joined CF Atlante from Mexico. After only one season, he returned to Europe for the Spanish first division club Rayo Vallecano . After this season he signed a contract with league rivals Celta Vigo .

After a year there was a move to the United Arab Emirates to Baniyas SC . He stayed for a little more than a season and joined Japanese second division team JEF United Ichihara Chiba in 2017 .
