Joaquín Pereyra , full name Joaquín Alejandro Pereyra Cantero , (born July 10, 1994 in Montevideo ) is a Uruguayan football player .

Career

The 1.87 meter tall defensive player Pereyra has been in the squad of the first division club Danubio FC at least since the Clausura of the 2014/15 season . There he made his debut under coach Leonardo Ramos on February 15, 2015 in a 1-0 away win against Racing with a starting eleven in the Primera División . He played a total of twelve top division games and three games in the 2015 Copa Libertadores in the 2014/15 season . Four more premier league appearances followed in Apertura 2015. He also played two games in the 2015 Copa Sudamericana . He did not score a competitive goal in the ranks of Danubio. In January 2016, he moved within the league on loan to Villa Teresa , but was not used until the end of the season. In mid-July 2016 he was loaned to the first division promoted Boston River and used him four times (no goal) in the top Uruguayan division in the 2016 season.
