Jobarteh Kunda
Jobarteh Kunda is an international band with musicians from Germany, the Caribbean and Italy. The band comes from Munich and has existed since 1999.
meaning
Jobarteh Kunda have been nominated for the Ruth 2005 World Music Prize and the 2005 BBC Award . They played at many (African) festivals and as the opening act for artists such as Manu Dibango and Miriam Makeba . The group's musicians also played with Mory Kanté , Ballet National de Guinee , Chaka Khan and Fernando Cruz , among others .
