Jochen Feilcke (born August 19, 1942 in Hanover ) is a German politician ( CDU ). He was a district councilor in Berlin-Schöneberg for four years , a member of the Berlin House of Representatives for eight years and a member of the German Bundestag for 16 years . He is chairman of the German-Israeli Society in Berlin and Brandenburg.

Life

In 1963 Feilcke did a humanistic Abitur in Hanover, after which he studied political science and economics at the Free University of Berlin . From 1968 to 1971 he worked as a freelance lecturer in political education. From 1972 to 1973 he was the managing director of the Democratic Club, and in October 1973 he became a representative of the Central Association of Berlin Employers' Associations. From 1978 to 1981 he was managing director of the Bildungswerk der Berliner Wirtschaft, then head of the labor market and international social policy department of the Central Association of Berlin Employers 'Associations and the Employers' Association of the Berlin Metal Industry.

In 1964 Feilcke became a member of the CDU. From 1967 to 1971 he was first chairman of the Junge Union Berlin-Schöneberg , from 1970 to 1982 he was chairman of the Innsbrucker Platz local association , in 1977 he became chairman of the Schöneberg district association and in 1981 he became a member of the regional executive committee of the CDU Berlin . From 1971 to 1975 Feilcke was a member of the Schöneberg district assembly , from 1975 to 1983 he was a member of the Berlin House of Representatives , where he was a member of the CDU parliamentary group and the council of elders from 1981 to 1983. From 1983 to 1998 Feilcke sat in the German Bundestag , although as a Berlin member of parliament he only had full voting rights from 1990. In 1990 he won the direct mandate in the Bundestag constituency of Berlin-Kreuzberg - Schöneberg , and in 1994 he entered parliament via the state list.
