Jochen Sigloch

Jochen Sigloch (* 1944 in Schwäbisch Hall ) is a German economist, best known for business taxation.

Career

Jochen Sigloch studied economics at the University of Freiburg and at the University of Munich with a degree in business administration. In 1971 he obtained his doctorate at LMU Munich, where he also completed his habilitation in 1976 with Enno Biergans . He was a full professor at the University of Bayreuth , where he held the chair for business taxation and auditing from 1978 to 2013 .

Sigloch is a member of the Business Taxation Commission in the Association of University Teachers for Business Administration

Sigloch initiated the intensive collaboration between the University of Bayreuth and the Foreign Language University in Shanghai , including a joint degree program. Sigloch retired at the end of the 2012/13 winter semester.
