Joseph John "Joe" Zelenka (* 9. March 1976 in Cleveland , Ohio ) is a former American American football poker players on the position of Long Snappers . He played 13 seasons in the National Football League (NFL).

Early years

Zelenka went to Benedictine High School in his native Cleveland . He later went to Wake Forest University , where he played for the college football team as a long snapper and tight end .

NFL

Zelenka was signed by the San Francisco 49ers after the 1999 NFL draft . After just one season, he moved to the Washington Redskins . After only one season again, he signed a contract with the Jacksonville Jaguars , with whom he stayed eight seasons. For the 2009 season he moved to the Atlanta Falcons . After he was no longer considered before the 2012 season with the Falcons, he ended his professional career. In total, he made 194 NFL games.
