Joel Siegel

Joel Siegel (born July 7, 1943 in Los Angeles - † June 29, 2007 ) was an American film critic and worked for more than 25 years for the ABC program , Good Morning America.

Siegel studied and received the distinction cum laude from UCLA . While in college, he registered black voters for Georgia and spoke frequently to Martin Luther King , Jr. Siegel also worked for Senator Robert F. Kennedy and was with him at the Ambassador Hotel the night he was murdered.

Siegel died of cancer at the age of 63.
