Joel West

Joel West (born April 6, 1975 in Indianola , Iowa , USA ) is an American film and theater actor and model .

West was born the only child of Jan Gipple (veterinary assistant) and Rob West (cameraman / casting agent). However, the parents divorced in 1989 . After attending Indianola High School and Buena Vista College in Storm Lake , West decided to become a model. He worked for Calvin Klein , Versace, and Hugo Boss, and appeared in a commercial for Bacardi .

Since he is said to have a similarity to the Dutch male model Markus Schenkenberg , he has always kept the nickname "Baby Marcus" in professional circles. Since he took on a supporting role in Shakespeare's What You Want on stage in September 2002 , West has also been in great demand as an actor.

In August 2002 he married the film actress Anna Bocci . The two have a child together.
