Joey Duin (born June 4, 1981 in Purmerend , the Netherlands ) is a Dutch handball player .

Duin, who plays for the Dutch club HV KRAS / Volendam and plays for the Dutch men's national handball team, is mostly used in the left backcourt .

Joey Duin began in neighboring Volendam in Handbalvereniging KRAS / Volendam with the handball game. There he made his debut in the first Dutch division and won the Dutch championship in 2005; In 2003 he was voted Dutch handball player of the year. In 2005 Duin was signed by the German second division TSV Bayer Dormagen . With the Rhinelanders he was second in the league in 2006 and 2007 and failed in each case in the relegation to promotion to the first handball league ; In 2008 Dormagen was finally champion of the 2nd League South and managed direct promotion. From November 28, 2008 Duin was under contract with the second division Bergischer HC. In the summer of 2010 he returned to Volendam.

Joey Duin has so far played 31 international matches for the Dutch national team, but has never qualified for a major international tournament.
