Joey Travolta (born October 14, 1950 in Englewood , New Jersey ) is an American actor , film producer and director .

Life

Joey Travolta is an older brother of actor John Travolta . The actor Jack Bannon was his brother-in-law.

Travolta made his acting debut in 1979 in the film Street Gangs . Since then he has mainly appeared in film productions, but occasionally also in television series. In 1994, Travolta made his directorial debut with Vegas Vice , and he was also involved in the script. A year earlier he had already written the story for the film Da Vinci's War - In the Fangs of the CIA . This was followed by directorial work in a wide variety of genres, all of them B-films. Since 1990 he has also worked as a producer in the film business, often acting as his own producer. He has worked with well-known B-movie actors such as C. Thomas Howell , Casper van Dien and Michael Madsen .

Travolta has been married since 1980.
