action

Anna Forstinger, who moved to Innsbruck six months ago, is lonely and unhappy in her new home. She is a nurse on the night shift and has an affair with the married doctor Michael, who only sees her as an object of pleasure. When Anna wants to sleep in her apartment after her strenuous night work, she is robbed of her sleep by the unbelievable construction noise due to renovation work in the house. Completely exasperated, she decides to look for a new apartment. But that fails because of the high rental prices in Innsbruck. When she discovers a newspaper advertisement for a three-room apartment, the realtor invites her to take a look at the other interested parties. His client is an elderly couple who want to select the future tenant in one-to-one meetings.

After Anna decides to do everything possible to get this apartment, she invites the realtor to dinner at home. Afterwards, dressed provocatively, she sits next to him on the sofa. Before that, she mixed him with an allegedly harmless remedy that, according to her colleagues, makes men docile. However, the agent dies unexpectedly from it. Desperate, Anna drags him out of the apartment and throws him off a bridge into the river. She observes the next interested party, Hermann Landauer, and finds out that he is having an affair. Confronted with these facts, he renounces the rented apartment. Then she receives a call from the apartment candidate, Max Fröhlich, who saw her disposing of the real estate agent's body. He forces Anna to get rid of the remaining potential tenants and then to give up the apartment herself. The next candidate, Julia Neuner, wants to drown her in the bathtub. However, she can defend herself, but slips and hits her head fatally. The last remaining interested party is old Dorothea Haslinger. Anna invites her to her home under a pretext and kills her. Her lover Michael appears surprisingly, who wants to call the police. She stabs him from behind. She asks Max Fröhlich for help to remove the corpses. After disposing of them, he drives them to his apartment and poisons them with a drink. However, Anna can shoot him with Michael's gun shortly before her death.

At the end of the film, the elderly couple is shown with their nephew in the coveted apartment. The owners have withdrawn the agency from the agency because it is rented within the family.

criticism

“In order to get the lease for an elegant apartment that would normally be out of reach for her, a nurse is willing to walk over the corpses of her financially strong or devious competition. Black and humorous thriller from the workshop of Austrian film students who tell their not very credible story with a lot of commitment. "

“Small murders among tenants are the focus of this mixture of social satire and contemporary drama, which Tyrolean drama and film students can afford for little money. It takes time for the story to get going, the actors do their job well, even if a little more humor would not have harmed the result and a plausible motivation for the blatant series of murders of the alleged heroine is not really obvious. Friends of local film art risk a look. "
